| Description: ZIF SOIC test socket to SOIC pads adapter makes changing of SOIC packages on SOIC SMT pads easy. The adapter is made in two parts. The bottom part (base) replaces the package on SOIC pads (is soldered to the pads) and has two-line male header connector. The top part with open-top ZIF test socket has a female connector which mates with the header on the SMT base. This adapter is used during development stage to change flash parts (or if unavailable, OTPs) without the need for soldering and desoldering. |
