| Description: 28-PLCC-to-LCC adapter used for increased connection reliability and higher emulator pod stability on targets with PLCC or LCC pads for the package or surface mount PLCC socket. The adapter has a two-part construction. The bottom part, LCC base with male pins, replaces PLCC package or PLCC socket on the pads - it is soldered to those pads. The top part, emulator attachment, has 500 mil high female connector matching that on the base. Both connectors have gold plated contacts. Additional bases can be purchased at any time. Emulator pod clearance is increased by 800 mils. |

Normal production PLCC sockets are rated at 25-30 insertions of a PLCC package. Aprilog.com's PLCC plugs can be inserted into the same production PLCC sockets over a 1000 times without any damage to those sockets. |
