Description: 20-pin symetrical SSOP SMT base. The base replaces the medium (208-mil) SSOP package on the target's SMT SSOP pads. When used with Microchip's PICs, some require 18-pin DIP TOP, some require 20-pin DIP top. Male connector on the base mates with female connector on the top part - ?attachnment? or ?TOP?. There are several TOPs. Emulator TOP, logic analyzer TOP, SSOP ZIF socket TOP, ZIF DIP socket TOP,SMT-TOP, etc. Not wired for the use with older version TOPs (xxSSOyy).
